I've always known that there are many things I could easily think off the top of my head that I'd want to improve with what I draw (composition, facial expressions, water effects, hair... oh god, I have to stop being a retard at drawing hair), and there's a lot that I need to learn if I want to attain any degree of what I think artistic freedom might be. But I've also always been trying to keep a low profile and keep my eyes shut, because I worry about spending too much time on this when I have so many other things that I do.

But that's not very useful to anybody, least of all myself. So I'll resolve from now on to seek out things I can learn from. The occasional per- I mean fellow users who fave some of my stuff, as unworthy as it is, blows me away with the things they've done, so I shall seek not just to return the favour, but to utilise these DA tools as they should be. The most effective way to gain exposure isn't just to whore yourself out: that's useless if you're not learning something in the process!
