I'm going to turn the Strugglers project into a webcomic or a graphic novel. It will be sordid and dirty but ultimately all very human (for lack of a better term haha).
I'm way off on the style but I'll probably do the comic proper in something other than Open Canvas. Much as I love the program, it seemingly no longer suits my needs. What's more important is to establish how I'm going to frame and structure. I tend to have a very cinematic focus.
So what's going on here? Well I'm doing a pilot chapter which, incidentally, happens to be the very climax of Nes' storyline in Strugglers. From sordid beginnings and a series of near-death situations, Nes has managed to claw his way to the very top and now faces off against the legend of breakdance, Quinn. So naturally he's going to have a bit of stage-fright and questioning his self-belief.
